One week ago, i received a spam message through the ICQ network. It was riding on the Превед meme that is well known in the Russian web.
This message by "MEDVED" contained a link to an exceptionally well designed web page. However this web page is trying to load malicious software in the background. So i removed all the dangerous code to release this save version to the general public:

Citizens of Philadelphia, please excuse the late annoucement: on June 26th was the opening of BITMAP in the Leonard Pearlstein Gallery at Drexel University. This exhibition features the hottest, most imaginative and undergroundy media art you can see today, for example mine and Olia's scarfs. The first time this exhibition was at the vertexlist gallery in Brooklyn, a place you should visit regularily.
Many different co-productions by Olia Lialina and me will be shown at the awesome And/Or Gallery in Dallas from June 7th to July 19th. To top it all off, Cory Arcangel is exhibiting with us!
Everybody will be there for the opening. Get ready for some surprises!

I set up a blog where i am discussing issues of digital design, actually mainly for my students and in German language: To all the ravers in the internet.
The update frequency is rather low and i like to publish posts i worked on for some time, so i think it is interesting for other people as well. If you know enough German.
In 2006 i made an HTML painting from rounded corners, generated in real time by a leaked rounded corner generator by Google. View Source!!
However, some time in 2007 Google has switched the generator off. I was clever enough to make a backup, so check this out:

My startling comic Die zwei lustigen Raver with the two jolly ravers Acid & E has been published in the awesome book Shake Your Tree #3.
I was drawing this story with Microsoft Paintbrush.
For all the people that do not understand German: The two ravers want to go to Ibiza, but take the wrong flight and end up in the desert. They are frustrated and fly back home, only to find out that the biggest rave ever was happening in the desert a short time after they left.

With Elements of Web 2.0 and Midnight will be on display in Brussels from 2008-04-18 to 2008-04-30 as part of the exhibition Holy Fire. It will be a great show of media art, just look at the participating artists -- so definitely worth a visit.

On March 20th at 12:30, Madison Square Park in NYC will see the unveilling of Olia Lialia's and Dragan Espenschied's latest project: Online Newspapers (New York Edition)!
We made New York Times, Daily News, New York Post and Wall Street Journal internet-ready. Till April 27th they will be visible on public displays in impressive resolution.
